Plugging the port into the mic itself upside down did not work for me, and this is the only real working solution that I have found to fix the Blue Snowball usb driver issue.
I tried uninstalling and installing the driver again and again from the DVD and from Magix website and still wasn't recognized. No matter what I did, windows doesn't recognize the installed driver.
